This project tasked us with creating a music catalog for an artist in the style of a 20th century art movement. I chose Playboi Carti and the punk movement. I challenged myself to dive into photo editing and collage since it was a style I previously had very little experience with.
Playboi Carti's evolution from SoundCloud sensation to punk rock trap vampire is truly the most entertaining thing I have witnessed in modern hip hop. I love it. I love the his image, his music, and his total dedication to being an absolute weirdo.
